William is a master of mechanisms, his creations inspiring awe and delight in equal measure. This one of a kind pendant necklace is in a realm beyond, it is indeed the stuff pure dreams are made of.
The first carousels as we know them did not appear in European carnivals and fairgrounds until the 19th century, and like this masterpiece have always been feats of engineering.
Conjuring the beauty of those carousels of old, this fully operational carousel pendant has been masterfully handcrafted. Three unicorns, one each in 18ct yellow, white and pink gold lead each other on a merry chase around a mirror-like polished 18ct yellow gold platform operated by an exquisite emerald studded winder. Striped candy poles of 18ct yellow, white and pink gold prop up the carousel’s fluted 18ct yellow gold canopy, cascading down to rounding boards and scenic panels bejewelled with millegrained white diamonds and sapphires of blue, pink and green. To complete this dazzling display, four coloured tourmaline briolettes in blue, green, pink and teal hang beneath the carousel Tsparkling from their petaled gold caps.
Truly a one of a kind piece to be treasured for generations to come.
