CRUX GEMMATA EARRINGS

The Crux Gemmata (latin for jewelled cross) earrings are pure opulence for your ears. Beautifully handcrafted in 18kt yellow gold, each cross is intricately formed with scrolls, fleurs de lis and sun rays. This design is inspired by French 19th Century crucifix found in graveyards and churches. Striking rose gold solar rays beam from two gorgeous brilliant cut Tsavorite Garnets. 

Four crisp 1.5mm princess cut white diamonds encircle each central garnet.

Adorning each cross are three (six in total) delicate crystal clear white diamond briolettes hanging timorously from platinum jump-rings. Capturing their delightful movement, the photos are slightly blurred and do not do these briolettes justice. 

Measuring 56mm in length from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the diamond briolette (or 44mm from the top of each cross to the bottom of the briolette), the crosses are 29.3mm at their widest point with a depth of 3.9mm.

Each earring weighs 6.14 grams (total weight 12.3 grams), and features 0.8mm wide ear wires.

Diamonds 8 x 1.5mm princess cut white colour (1.5 points or 0.015cts each) 

Diamond Briolettes 6 x white colour F/G, clarity VS/S1, 2 larger briolettes 0.3cts each, 4 smaller briolettes 0.15cts each) Total diamonds 1.32cts
