William is a master of mechanisms, his creations inspiring awe and delight in equal measure. This one of a kind ring is in a realm of it's own, it is indeed the stuff pure dreams are made of.
The first carousels as we know them did not appear in European carnivals and fairgrounds until the 19th century, and like this masterpiece have always been feats of engineering.
Conjuring the beauty of those carousels of old, this fully operational carousel ring has been masterfully handcrafted. Three horses, one each in 18ct yellow, white and pink gold lead each other on a merry chase around a mirror-like polished 18ct yellow gold platform operated by an exquisite ruby studded winder.
Encircling the rim of the carousel, delicate seed pearls, immitating lightglobes, add an air of fairgound wonder. The roof of the carousel is adorned with a rainbow of pear-shaped sapphires in yellow, blue, red and green, and tiny pave set diamonds sit around the perimeter.
Classical engraving adorns the base of the carousel in ribbon banners reading "Forever Young At Heart".
