GRIFFIN'S CREST PENDANT NECKLACE

With the head of an eagle, the body of a lion and a serpent’s tail, griffins were guardians of ancient gold hoards and regal masters of the sky, mythological creatures said to have drawn the chariots of Greek Gods Zeus and Apollo.

Beautifully handcrafted in 9ct yellow gold, the Griffin’s Crest pendant is intricately formed with winged details and fine baroque scrollwork.

At the heart of this luxurious pendant lies a stunning claw set 23mm x 15.2mm, 28ct oval cut Swiss blue topaz. Hovering above, a 9mm x 9mm fancy shield cut garnet shines down upon the two guardian griffins and mascaron face ornament below.

This necklace weights 30 grams in total. This pendant measures 62mm in length and 30mm in width at it's widest point. The 9ct yellow gold chain is 50cm in length.
