GRADOLA BLUE GROTTO RING
Handcrafted in 9ct rose gold this stunning ring features a divine central checkerboard cut blue topaz, clear and phosphorescent like the cool bright waters of The Blue Grotto of Gradola. In Roman times this sea cave on the island of Capri became Emperor Tiberius’ personal swimming hole where he constructed a marine temple decorated with statues of the Roman sea gods. By the 18th century it was deemed perilous by sailors and locals alike; being believed to be inhabited by witches and monsters.
Cradled on it’s ornate scrolled split shank, the enchanting aesthetic of it's signature WLG basket setting pays homage to grand Gothic styled windows which serve to draw in the maximum amount of light, allowing it to pass through the stone and portray it's true vibrancy.
Measuring 9.6mm above the finger, 27mm high, 17.5mm at its widest point and 10mm in depth, this delicate ring is pure delight. It sits comfortably on the hand and has a gorgeous weight to it.
The ring fits finger size H 3/4 (Australian & British size) or US size 4 - 4 1/4. Ring size can be adjusted within reason.
