LABASSA GARNET RING

The Labassa ring features a richly hued garnet set in an impressive signature WLG cathedral setting and flanked by atlantes (atlantes is the Greek plural of the name Atlas—the Titan who was forced to hold the sky on his shoulders for eternity. In architectural details it refers to strong muscular men used as columns to support a structure). The golden atlantes here hold pink tourmaline bullets atop their heads, which emulate flaming torches.

This design was inspired by the lavish decoration of the Labassa Mansion in Caufield North in Naarm Melbourne.

18 carat yellow gold 20.76 grams

Garnet oval cut 13.1 x 14.2 mm 12 carats approx.

Pink tourmaline bullets 2.5mm 

This ring sits 14.3 mm high off the finger and 24.6 at widest part (from altas elbow to atlas elbow)
